Ryan and Chris fell in love with quail quickly. Their backyard operation quickly progressed and expanded through partnership with Alicia. The whole team has immense passion for quail, from egg to full grown birds. A team made up of entirely different folks, but the love for their quail ties them up into the best group to assist you in your individual adventure.

Ryan
Founder
Plumber by day, rat hunter by night. Ryan began this operation and stays the driving force. He has immense passion for the hatching process, and prides himself in successful batches continuously.
Ryan is a dedicated father, and his love for his passions are evident.
If you do decide to keep quail and you live in the city, you'll find rats are inevitable. Ryan has taken this threat as seriously as possible and works diligently to keep his birds safe. He is a great resource if you deal with this problem yourself.
Chris
Co-founder
Yes, Chef! Chris has been a chef in the restaurant industry for 20+ years. He has managed high profile kitchens, and won awards locally for his work. Chris likes to come home after work and hang out in the aviary with the birds. Do the birds like him? The hens, maybe. But the roosters hate to see him coming!
Chris has two adult children, and is raising a strong, kind, capable daughter. You can often find her helping him package eggs, or tending to the baby chicks.
Alicia
Right-hand-man
After spending most her life in the city, Alicia's passion for birds initially began with chickens. Ryan and Chris introduced her to quail and the rest is history. Quote from Alicia to her husband, "You should have let me get quail before you let me get chickens, they're way easier to care for."
He agrees.
Alicia has two young sons, and works full time in the construction risk insurance industry.
